Your
Visitors
| At Delnor, we recognize that visits from family and
friends are important to our patients during their hospital stay. We
also understand that company and compasion are beneficial
to the recovery process. That's why we have an open visiting
policy, based on the preferences and condition of our patients.Open
visiting means that patient visiting is allowed at any time, unless there
are medical reasons preventing it. |
While in the
hospital, we ask that you and your guests be respectful of the other
patients, and conduct yourselves appropriately. This includes speaking
quietly and avoiding unnecessary noise. Those with a cold,
sore throat or other communicable illness should delay visiting until they
are well. Smoking while on hospital property is
prohibited.
Gifts for Patients
Visitors should check with
your nurse before bringing food, drink, or other gifts to your room to make
certain they are appropriate. Due to latex allergies, latex balloons are not
allowed in the hospital.
