W.I.N. – Women in Need

The W.I.N. support group offers needed support as well as education about postpartum difficulties, particularly postpartum depression.  The group is co-facilitated by a psychotherapist from TriCity Family Services and a NewLife maternity nurse.  The sessions cover six different areas of content: anger and guilt, anxiety, self-esteem, family support, depression, and coping skills.  Attendance at the group sessions is free, however, pre-registration is required.  To register, call TriCity Family Services at (630)232-1070.  If you have immediate needs, call the NewLife Maternity Warm Line at (630)208-4070.

Mothers First

Mothers First is a dynamic group of moms dedicated to providing a social and support network for its members.  The group consists of mothers of young children (birth through age 5.)  The group offers a wide variety of programs and activities for its members.  Members receive a monthly newsletter informing them of upcoming events.   For more information, call Delnor Community Health & Outreach at (630) 208-3999 or visit the Mothers First website www.mothersfirst.net.
