Outstanding Patient Experience Award
Delnor is one of the top hospitals in the nation for patient experience according to HealthGrades, the leading independent healthcare ratings organization. Based on the firm's findings, Delnor received the 2010/2011 HealthGrades Outstanding Patient Experience AwardTM. The hospital is one of only eight recipients in the state to receive the award two years in a row.
Emergency Department
As a Level II Trauma Center and Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics, Delnor's Emergency Department (ED) offers the expertise and resources to treat people of all ages with severe or life-threatening illnesses and injuries. The ED has 19 private care rooms, two trauma rooms and six fast-track rooms for patients with less severe illnesses and injuries. The department has dedicated X-ray equipment and is connected directly to the Cardiac Catheterization Lab for fast diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular emergencies.
Maternity Care
Delnor's NewLife® Maternity Center provides families with a private suite offering all the amenities of a fine hotel. The Level II with Extended Capabilities Nursery is equipped to care for low birth weight infants, premature infants, and infants on ventilators. Delnor's neonatalogists are available 24 hours a day. The center also offers maternal-fetal medicine services for women experiencing high risk pregnancies including multiple births, and 24 hour obstetric physician coverage in the event of an emergency.
Inpatient Addition
Delnor's beautiful, three-story inpatient addition features spacious rooms, natural lighting and a home-like atmosphere. It also features comfortable lounges and common areas for patients and their families to enjoy during their stay. All rooms in the addition and throughout the hospital are single occupancy to promote patient privacy and safety.

The Delnor Medical Staff features more than 400 of the finest physicians in the area representing 80 specialties and sub-specialties.
