Outstanding Patient Experience Award

Delnor was a recipient of the 2010/2011 HealthGrades "Outstanding Patient Experience Award." The Hospital ranked among the top 10 percent in the nation for providing exceptional care and service based on an analysis of patient surveys from across the country by HealthGrades, the leading independent healthcare ratings organization. Delnor is one of only five recipients in Illinois to receive the award two years-in-a-row.

Delnor Honored Again as a "Company that Cares"

For the seventh year-in-a-row the nonprofit organization Center for Companies that Care, named Delnor to its national honor roll. The hospital is one of just three organizations to have earned this recognition each year since the award's inception in 2004, and was one of only 29 recipients in the entire United States last year. The award honors companies for being excellent employers.

Physician Satisfaction Awards

Delnor was honored for achieving outstanding physician satisfaction by Professional Research Consultants, Inc., a national healthcare market research firm. In all, the hospital won 13 "Excellence in Healthcare" awards in 2010. Delnor also received the following awards:

• "5-Star" honors (top 10 percent of hospitals)  for "Overall Quality of Care", "Physician Satisfaction with Delnor as a Place to Practice Medicine", "Nursing Care", "Medical Records and Information", "Administration", "Emergency Services", and "Laboratory Services".  
• "4-Star" awards (top 20 percent) for "Anesthesia", "Pathology", "Radiology", and "Surgical Services".
