Outstanding Service to Delnor Health System

Dr. Coker is responsible for forming a committee of physicians who are leading a new, multidisciplinary approach for evaluating care that will positively impact ongoing patient safety and quality at Delnor. According to his colleagues, the initiative was tremendously time consuming and would not have gotten off the ground had it not been for his tireless efforts and hard work. Under Dr. Coker's leadership, the Patient Care Evaluation Committee is credited with making process improvements that have enhanced the team approach to patient care.

Dr. Coker is board certified in emergency medicine. He attended Rush Medical College of Rush University, Chicago, and completed his internship and residency at the University of Illinois, Chicago. He joined the Delnor medical staff in 1998.
