Physician Satisfaction Awards

Delnor has been honored for achieving exceptional physician satisfaction by Professional Research Consultants, Inc. (PRC), a nationally known healthcare market research firm. In all, the hospital won 11 "Excellence in Healthcare" awards for 2011 from PRC, including "5-Star" honors for:     

• Overall quality of care
• Physician satisfaction with Delnor as a place to practice medicine
• Nursing care
• Emergency services
• Laboratory services
• Medical records
• Administration

The 5-Star designation is given to healthcare facilities scoring in the top 10 percent of PRC's national database of 300 hospitals.

The hospital won "4-Star" recognition for patient safety, radiology services, surgical services and anesthesia services, The 4-Star designation is given to those scoring in the top 25 percent.

Delnor is honored that members of the medical staff rank the hospital so highly. The awards demonstrate the confidence physicians have in the hospital when referring patients for inpatient and outpatient care and services.
