Trauma Care

There are only a select number of facilities within the State of Illinois that earn the designation of Level II Trauma Center.  Delnor is proud to be one of them.  We maintain this designation by meeting the strict guidelines and criteria set by the Illinois Department of Public Health.

Our physicians are board certified in emergency medicine and available 24 hours a day in our comprehensive emergency department.  Our nurse practitioners and registered nurses are specially trained in emergency and trauma care to ensure our patients receive the best care possible when they have suffered critical injuries.  We also have specialty physicians available on call to meet our patients’ needs in the event they require specialized care.   We understand that you don’t plan on having an emergency, but rest assured that if you do, you are in very capable hands.
