Additional Services

Interpreters

While it is ideal for patients to bring their own interpreters to the hospital, we realize that this is not always possible. For this reason, Delnor offers translation services for patients and visitors. In some cases, translation can be provided in person. In others, the services of Certified Language International (CLI) are used. This telephone translation service is available 24 hours-a-day at no charge to the patient or visitor.

A variety of print, videotape, and online resource materials in Spanish and other languages are also available in patient care areas.

Mail

Volunteers deliver letters and packages for patients each morning. Mail that arrives after you have been discharged will be forwarded to your home.

Stamps and stationery/cards may be purchased at Front Door Gifts located off the main lobby. Outgoing mail may be left at the nursing station or given to a volunteer.
