Women in Need

The Women in Need support group offers needed support as well as education about postpartum difficulties, particularly postpartum depression.  The group is co-facilitated by a psychotherapist from TriCity Family Services and a NewLife maternity nurse.  The sessions cover six different areas of content: anger and guilt, anxiety, self-esteem, family support, depression, and coping skills.  Attendance at the group sessions is free, however, pre-registration is required.  To register, call TriCity Family Services at (630)232-1070.  If you have immediate needs, call the NewLife Maternity Warm Line at (630)208-4070.
