Our Facility

Delnor’s Emergency Department houses 19 all private rooms with sliding glass doors and curtains for the ultimate in patient privacy.  Each room is fully equipped with the latest in monitoring equipment and supplies as well as a TV for patients and their families.  There are an additional six treatment rooms in ER Express.

In addition to the standard treatment rooms, Delnor’s Emergency Department includes two state-of-the-art trauma rooms for those patients with life-threatening conditions or injuries.  Delnor receives up to 20 patients per day by rescue squad.  These patients are brought in through an extra large ambulance garage that can accommodate up to six rescue squads at a time, allowing paramedics to get their patients into the facility as quickly as possible.

Dedicated radiology (X-ray) and lab areas are also located within the Delnor Emergency Department.  This allows routine x-rays and lab tests to be performed right in the department, greatly reducing treatment time.

For patients suffering a heart attack, they can take comfort in knowing that the cardiac catheterization lab is adjacent to the Emergency Department, which has earned Delnor door-to-balloon times consistently meeting or beating the national standard.
