Tuition Reimbursement

The Tuition Reimbursement Program is designed to provide employees with an opportunity to continue their education and to improve skills and knowledge in areas mutually beneficial to them and the organization. Courses must be work-related or must be a part of the a degree program relevant to the employee's job, or a job within the hospital to which the employee aspires, and must be offered at an accredited high school, trade school, college, or university.

To be eligible an employee must be scheduled to work 20 hours or more per week and continue to do so at least through the end of the course(s) for which the tuition reimbursement is being request.  The employee must also have completed six months of service before beginning the course.

Reimbursement for tuition, required fees, and textbooks will be made to the employee upon a grade of C or higher, up to a maximum of $5,000 in a 12-month school year.
